There is finally light at the end of the lockdown tunnel and Victoria have released a roadmap that will see some easing of restrictions until we start following the National Plan. The attached pdf shows the indoor activities and although we will still follow State Government, Council and Eagle Stadium directives, there is a possibility of table tennis being able to re-open when Vic reaches 80% double dosed – estimated at 4/11/21.
WTTA committee will meet as soon as we hit 70% (23/10/21) to decide on what we will do with the current season and what potentially could be 5 more weeks of play.
The one thing that is clear from the roadmap is that anyone wishing to play will need to be double dosed so if you are yet to get your first shot and you start next week you still have time to get your second dose before things start to open up.
Always seek medical advice before taking any shots.
